Syberia
Style: Postrock/Postmetal | Home: Barcelona/Catalonia

Syberia is an instrumental rock band founded in Barcelona in 2010. The four members of the band are Oscar (guitar), Jordi (guitar, synthesizer and programming), Quim (bass) and Manel (drums). They have recorded five albums to date: "Drawing A Future" (2012), "Resiliency" (2016), "Seeds Of Change" (2019), "Statement On Death" (2022) and the brand new "Quan tot s'apagui".

"Quan tot s'apagui" is their darkest and most introspective album to date. It offers a symbolic exploration of the end of the world and the transition to nothingness - a sonic narrative in which beauty and desolation coexist. Leaning more heavily on post-metal and black metal influences, the album expands Syberia's signature sound with more intense, atmospheric and savage elements, while retaining the melodic sensibility that has long characterized them.

Amplifier
Style: Postrock/Krautrock | Home: Munich

With "V", Verstärker will release their 5th studio album in October 2024 after more than 20 years of band history with 5 new, live recorded songs (38 min) on finaltune records, the label of Collapse Under The Empire. While the songs on the predecessor "Themes & Variations" (2020) were real instrumental monoliths between post- and kraut-rock, the new songs are more compact and catchy, and still instrumental post-rock sculptures that trigger exuberant, long-lasting feelings of happiness: Dynamism and melancholy, sometimes energetic & euphoric, then again vast expanses & lush sound sculptures.
Three instruments, rumbling, meandering, floating basses (Alexander Gilli), bell-like, hymn-like, then again rough guitars (Roberto Cruccolini), unadorned, driving, decomposing, oscillating drums (Wolfgang Walter). "V" is post-rock: massively euphoric walls of sound piled up into infinite spheres with an intense, multi-faceted instrumental flow. This is where Mogwai's intensity & Motorpsycho's playfulness meet Russian Circles' anthems & Maserati's musical playfulness.
And since "V", Amplifiers have already composed new songs ...
