We are celebrating Neighborhood Day - and invite you to spend this day of humanity with us. At Stiglmaierplatz, it's all about joining in, repairing and rediscovering. Whether you have a rattling bike or fancy some creative handicrafts - there's something for everyone here, from young to old.

Bike repair workshop with Martin

Is your bike on strike? No problem. At the free repair workshop, we'll help you fix minor damage yourself: patching tubes, adjusting brakes, oiling the chain, tightening bolts. We provide tools and know-how - you bring your bike and your curiosity.

Cycle workshop with Anne

"Don't throw it away. Take it in your hands and do something with it!" - that's the motto of our circular workshop and creative hands-on activity for adults and children. Together we discover how something completely new can be created from old materials and natural ingredients:

• Creating paper - waste paper is turned into a brand new sheet using water and a sieve
• Shaping seed balls - soil, seeds and a little patience: small balls that blossom in spring
• Building birdhouses - empty milk cartons are turned into cozy shelters for our feathered neighbors
• Designing fabrics - using self-carved potato stamps to turn fabrics and paper into small works of art

The workshop is deliberately designed to be open and inviting to try things out. Adults and children can wander from station to station, discover at their own pace and experience how everything is connected - the cycle in the most literal sense. Old becomes new. Life grows from earth. And small wonders arise from ideas.

Note: Bring your empty milk tetrapacks - they are the building material for our birdhouses!
