After a brilliant first "Day of the Climb" with 10,000 participants around the BaldeneySteig last year, the ZollvereinSteig in the north of Essen will be the focus of the second edition of the hiking day on April 5, 2025.
What you can expect:
- 5 different routes around the ZollvereinSteig
- Collect stamps to receive hiking pins
- Medals for children
- Folding map with routes and stamp card at each stamping point

Where do I start?
You can start at any point along the 5 routes. You can get the hiking maps at the stamping points (see website) or in advance at the Tourist Info.

Yes - note cemeteries: dogs must be kept on a short lead.
