IBA - A Walk Through Tegel with a Visit to the Humboldt Library, led by Kurt Nelius
11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m., meet at the library entrance
Duration: 90 minutes, approx. 1.8 km
The tour includes a walk through the Tegeler Hafen development area, which was built as part of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) from 1984 to 1987. Participants will visit the Humboldt Library and view city villas and residential complexes from the outside. The tour will explore the distinctive features of postmodern architecture and examine how the buildings at Tegeler Hafen relate to the development of the Tegel neighborhood.
