As a guest: stay tuned

Talking Blues with Boris Ruge

Boris Ruge is looking for the true blues and he doesn't just find it by copying the guitar licks of blues guitar heroes. He finds it in the unvarnished stories of people.

For the research for his solo premiere "Bring Your Own Blues", he interviewed friends, colleagues and people about their own life blues. The conversations quickly became deep, surprisingly intimate and humanly touching and enriching.

At Talking Blues, he now talks about the blues on stage with dazzling, special and yet so normal people. It's about real encounters in a society where so much is about appearances and likes or being right.

There will be blues from Boris and perhaps also from the guests. Be curious. Get in! Let it roll!

About Boris Ruge:

"...Boris Ruge plays the guitar masterfully with soft blues and tart rock to powder-dry rhymes" TZ München

"Boris Ruge, who also played the guitar fantastically, showed his bravura skills. Longing turned into song... " Reutlinger Generalanzeiger

"You play a very excellent guitar" as a guest of Peter Horton on SWR
