Alternative Emo * Indie Rock * Provincial Pop

The Münsterland: endless expanses - and plenty of room for emotions. This is where this passionate DIY band comes from and, in addition to young country life, they mainly focus on their emotional world (which is not so different from urban life!?). TANTE EMMA's sound moves between catchy indie pop and powerful alternative rock. Content, distinctive two-tone (spoken) vocals and great melodies merge into a harmonious sound with an authentic character and high recognition value; their anthemic songs take you on a journey into their world, inviting you to indulge & dance, to empathize & break out. That shreds, that grooves, that rocks.

Awarded the Sparkasse Young Talent Prize for Art & Culture in 2024, they perform their show - from a rock quartet to a smoothly functioning team of eight - in anyone's barn. And which big city would be better suited to their global provincial pop than the home of a certain other Emma, with whom we otherwise don't have much to do... - how about that?
