Tanz den Gasteig - Münchens größte Tanzparty

Free admission means that anyone who wants to dance can try out different dance styles in workshops, listen to live music or party late into the night. Everyone is welcome when "Tanz den Gasteig" turns the entire HP8 area into a dance floor again.

Hip-hop or hula hoop, musical sounds or folk dance, voguing or waacking, clubbing with Harry Klein or a salsa party - there's something for everyone, whether you're a professional or a beginner, a single, a couple or a group, a child or a senior citizen. The biggest dance festival takes place from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tanz den Gasteig 2024 - with a breakdance battle

Breakdancing is a highlight this year. As an Olympic dance sport for the first time, it is also a must at "Tanz den Gasteig". In addition to offers to join in, there will be a live breakdance battle on the stage of the Isarphilharmonie - cheer on and join in the excitement!

Weather permitting, the entire outdoor area of the Gasteig HP8 will also be used for dancing: Charleston and Swing will fill the area in front of the rehearsal hall and the legendary Silent Disco will provide fun dance moves with headphone music on the square at the Kulturkraftwerk. Food trucks provide new energy.

Inside, it gets really loud again in the evening. Salsa in Hall E, a hip-hop party in the Isarphilharmonie and the Harry Klein Club in Hall X guarantee a party atmosphere.
