Theater ohne Probe and Hannover98 present improv theater as full-length entertainment

Improvisational theater can be more than just games and quick laughs. Improvisational theater can tell profound stories, unfold immense arcs of suspense and evoke great emotions. It can be pure theater - only improvised! With this in mind, Theater ohne Probe - presented by Hannover98 - will be showing the full-length improv show "Tapetenwechsel" on June 5 at 8 p.m. in the FAUST Warenannahme.

The special challenge of this format is that there is nothing but the bare stage and the instructions from the audience. "Tapetenwechsel" is an improvised chamber play in three acts that manages without changing locations or cinematic cuts. Thrown together in one room, the characters and their relationships take center stage. The drama unfolds with the intensity of a written play - sometimes funny, sometimes serious and always moving.

The format was developed under the title "The Naked Stage" by Tim Orr and BATS Improv from San Francisco. Uta Walter, Susanne van Dyk, Felix Engelmann and Thomas Jäkel from Theater ohne Probe in Berlin will be performing together with Dorit David from Hannover98.
