TEATRALIA präsentiert: “Libertà o quasi”

The Italian theater group TEATRALIA from Bamberg, which has been part of the Franconian theater scene for 26 years, is performing for the first time in the Bavarian capital with the play “Libertà o quasi” (2019) by writer and director Stefano Giannascoli.

“Libertà o quasi” is an intense and moving play about freedom—or rather, the illusion of it. The story centers on three women: Linda, Berta, and Tatiana. As different as their life circumstances may be, they are united by their struggle against emotional dependence, social pressure, and toxic relationships. The play addresses domestic violence, addiction, manipulation, and self-deception—honestly, unsparingly, and yet with subtle humor.
