Temples in Germany in October with new album "BLISS"

Temples last left their hypnotic mark in this country on the "Exotico" tour in 2023 - now the British band is back with several signs of life. Following the announcement of their fifth studio album "BLISS" (release date: 26.06.) and the first track "Jet Stream Heart", their live return is now certain: the quartet will be coming to Munich, Berlin and Cologne for three shows in October 2026. The name Temples has become synonymous with a band that is characterized by a spirit of adventure and constantly exploring new ideas. Founded in Kettering, England, the band consisting of James Bagshaw (vocals/guitar), Thomas Walmsley (bass), Adam Smith (keyboards/guitar) and Rens Ottink (drums) has created an unmistakable cosmos over the years: a sound that picks up on the psychedelic radiance of the sixties and transforms it into something unique with a playful openness and the experimental possibilities of later decades. It is probably precisely this tension between retrospection and new beginnings, the fusion of past and present, that has made Temples so fascinating since their debut album "Sun Structures" (2014). Celebrated early on by the likes of Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr as one of the UK's most exciting new bands, the band has consistently developed from their first UK Top 10 success - across four studio albums, EPs and numerous singles. From the creative confines of a small-town English youth between Midlands dreariness, pub and rehearsal room, the tangible desire to push boundaries and open up new spaces remains to this day. On their fifth album "BLISS", Temples turn the perception of the quartet on its head. They venture into electronic realms while remaining true to their core DNA. Euphoric and melancholic melodies from late 90s dance music mix with psychedelic riffs and loops to create something completely new - and perhaps the Brits' boldest creation to date. The first sounds of the new LP already hint at what the band will unfold live: It's all about pure emotion and the feeling of being literally drawn into a space by music. Their concerts become a state of suspension between intoxication, melody and escapism, carried by psychedelic colors and pulsating rhythms. Temples invite you to join them again next October when they bring their sound to Munich, Berlin and Cologne to let go and dance.
