Stories lie hidden beneath the surface - once omnipresent, now forgotten; some erased before they even found a language. Fragments of memories become timeless carriers of beauty and identity. Where absence gains weight, the incomplete becomes its own form of sacredness. Remains of things that were once important appear like relics: they bear witness, leave fingerprints and ask: how can knowledge be preserved?
"Tender Relics" invites you to explore materiality in presence as well as in absence - visible in sculptures, performances and wearable objects by Isabella Rudzki and Sasha G Kramer.
