5elements e.V. presents "The 5 Elements of Hip-Hop", the opening event for the free workshop program for children, teenagers and young adults aged 12 to 24.

In addition to presentations that briefly introduce the project, there will be performances by the coaches. Afterwards, the mic and the stage will be open to everyone.

About the project

Do you want to learn how to write raps and songs, produce your own beats and record yourself, how to draw graffiti sketches and spray them on the wall and how to develop your own breakdance moves and choreos?

You can learn all this and more every week from Thursday, February 5 - 8 p.m. in the one-year project "The 5 Elements of Hip-Hop" in the Community Lab of Munich City Library, Rosenheimer Str. 30. The trainers from the non-profit organization 5elements e.V. will accompany you on your personal path to becoming a hip-hop artist and pass on their knowledge of the 5 elements of hip-hop culture:

• 1. knowledge (hip-hop history & philosophy)
• 2. DJ technique, beatboxing & music production
• 3. rap & songwriting
• 4. graffiti
• 5. breakdancing
