We live in times of change - positions are being altered, perspectives are shifting and things that seemed to be set in stone and hardly given a second thought are suddenly in the spotlight and need to be questioned. How good that there are still fixed points that can be relied on - even in concert and live entertainment: THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW is undoubtedly one of them. With the precision of clockwork, the Australians have been touring the globe for over three decades and have thrilled over four million fans worldwide. This makes them the most successful and best-known Pink Floyd tribute band in the world. The Times described them as "The Gold Standard", The Daily Mirror as "The Kings of the Genre".
With their live shows, which change programmatically from tour to tour, THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW always succeeds in perfectly reproducing the sound and atmosphere of a Pink Floyd concert. In combination with an elaborate light and laser show, matching animations on a high-resolution LED wall that visually accompany the music, other special effects and giant inflatable figures on stage, the performances of THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW will once again be a unique concert experience in 2024 - and not just for Pink Floyd fans.
The new tour next year has the motto "The First Class Traveling Set" and will take THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW to a total of fourteen cities throughout Germany in March 2024. This time, the focus will not be on a specific album or a musical anniversary of their idols. It's about the songs that mean so much to Pink Floyd fans all over the world. "The First Class Travelling Set" features songs from every phase of Pink Floyd's creative journey and underlines THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW's commitment and respect for the legacy of Barrett, Waters, Gilmour, Wright & Mason in the form of a show that is a sincere and genuine tribute to legendary Pink Floyd productions.
Reproducing the music of others may leave a bitter taste in the mouth of some music lovers - and not without good reason. However, when you consider the dedication, reverence, professionalism and attention to detail with which THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW takes on the oeuvre of the British cult band, any initial skepticism quickly disappears: The music, vocals and voices are faithful to those of their great role models, and the Australians' sound is equally rich and sensitively controlled. Over the decades, THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW has long since become a musical institution that sets standards. No wonder, as the Australians' credo has been from the very beginning: As close to the original as possible. The band has now proven a million times over that they are masters of their craft and have won over even the most critical fans.
In addition to their own tours, THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW have already shared the stage with the likes of Foreigner, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Hawkwind, Steve Vai, Midge Ure, Jeff Beck, The Darkness, The Beach Boys, Status Quo, Simple Minds, The Allman Brothers, Groove Armada, Chicken Foot, Jimmy Page, and Jethro Tull and played at the same festivals as Aerosmith, Sex Pistols, The Police, Metallica, Roger Hodgson, Toto, Tom Jones, The Killers, Madness and Supertramp.
