In the organizer's words:
After more than four decades of hits, shrill energy and pop-cultural radiance, The B-52's are coming back to Germany for a very special night: On June 24, 2026, Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson will play their only German show at Zitadelle Berlin. The concert is part of their ongoing celebrated farewell performances and promises a colorful journey through the musical history of one of the most legendary bands of the American alternative scene.
With over 20 million albums sold worldwide, The B-52's have not only inspired generations of fans, but also influenced musicians from John Lennon to Lady Gaga. From classics like "Rock Lobster" and their self-titled debut album to the worldwide hits "Roam" and "Love Shack" from the multi-platinum album Cosmic Thing, the band has shaped the sound, fashion and attitude of an entire era and remains an icon of pop culture to this day.
Following their extensive farewell tour, which began in 2022, The B-52's continue to play selected concerts as bright, loud and full of life as ever. Their show at the historic Zitadelle Spandau will be an exclusive moment to experience the unmistakable mix of new wave, post-punk and danceable euphoria live in Germany once again.
The B-52's: It's still their planet - we're just dancing on it.
