Happy Brithday! The Cashbags pay homage to Johnny Cash in a tribute show!

To celebrate Johnny Cash's birthday, The Cashbags are presenting a one-off special production at Stromwerk. This show expands the regular program with a larger line-up and special musical moments.

The focus is on the work of the "Man in Black" - from the early Sun Records to the late American Recordings. US singer Robert Tyson embodies Cash with remarkable vocal intimacy, accompanied by Valeska Kunath as June Carter and the band in the classic Tennessee Three line-up. For this evening, the production has been specifically expanded to include additional guests in the roles of "Anita Carter" and The Ckoehler Family, who lend the concert an additional musical and emotional level.

The show combines large ensemble moments with reduced passages, trio sequences and intimate solo parts. The dramaturgical arc is based on the legendary "Johnny Cash Show", enhanced with its own accents for this special occasion. Not a copy. But an independent live production - unique for this evening.
