In her directorial debut, Kristen Stewart transforms the autobiographical memoir into a fragmented, rushing immersion bath - carried by Imogen Poots' intense presence. Flashbacks, scraps of memory, breaths between longing and self-destruction form a cinema that refuses to tell a straight story.
