Music is everything. It’s the ups and downs, the euphoria and lethargy. It comforts you, it overwhelms you, only to
pull you back up, kiss you deeply, and stay with you forever.
Two people who have deeply internalized this feeling are Darius Lohmüller and Jakob Walheim. With an
unwavering “all or nothing” mentality, the two friends run their band, THE DEADNOTES.
Driven by pure determination and passion, they have toured all over Europe together many times, performing
performed over 600 times on stages—from the smallest to the ever-larger ones—sold more and more records,
experienced the best and most grueling moments of their lives, pushed themselves to the limit both physically and mentally,
racked up massive debt on multiple occasions, but never for a single day doubted that they were on the right
cause. By 2025, the duo ranks among the most active independent rock acts in Europe from
Germany.
