The Dirty Denims play happy hard rock: hard rock with a good mood guarantee. Combined with rock 'n roll, power pop and a pinch of punk rock, they sound like AC/DC, Joan Jett, Ramones and The Donnas. Live, these rock chicks and boys are in their element: the energetic show of a band that has fun on stage, takes their audience with them and doesn't take themselves too seriously.
The Dutch festival Lowlands describes their music as tight punk and hard rock inspired by the Ramones and AC/DC. Frontwoman Mirjam delivers a catchy voice to go with it, reminiscent of Joan Jett and Debbie Harry. With their catchy songs and infectious energy, you want to raise your fist in the air in the audience and shout "YEAH!" loudly.
The Dirty Denims have played major festival such as Lowlands, Rockin' Park, Zwarte Cross and Bospop and supported Slash, Whitesnake, Golden Earring, Cheap Trick, Steel Panther and Thundermother. Their song "24-7-365" played nationwide on all major radio stations in the Netherlands. The song was also used in two international Comedy Central campaigns. Their song "Back With A Bang!" was featured on a compilation CD by Classic Rock Magazine UK (circulation about 70,000 worldwide). In 2022 the band played a show for the German WDR Rockpalast.
