On December 13, 2025, the bar in the Creamcheese room at Museum Kunstpalast will open its doors for a new rhythm in the city and bring history to life. The idea for the bar came to artist Günther Uecker after a stay in New York, where he visited Andy Warhol and his club The Dom. Uecker wanted to create a similar place in Düsseldorf where people could dance, drink and present experimental art from all genres. This attracted the crème de la crème of the art scene: Artists such as Mack designed the space with Richter, Beuys and Herzfeld, carried out actions there or were simply guests in the pub like Otto Piene.

Between concrete, mirrors and history, a place was created where electronic subculture now has a space - far removed from mainstream sound and loudness at any price. A series of events by Saferoomsessions Collective e.V.

Saferoomsessions Collective e.V., the association committed to the electronic music scene in Düsseldorf, now invites you to "Melted Vinyl Grooves"!

This is an invitation to all those who are looking for more in music than just the next drop. For people who want to discover sounds they may never have heard before, but which could become their new favorite music - and who want to dance to them.

This is where analog sound meets progressive precision, from the vacuum of silence to the hurricane of musical possibilities, from daylight to black light. Creeping movement is transformed into a frenzied standstill of thought. Art and music merge into an interplay of tension, depth and moment - flowing, unexpected, intense.

Musically, everything remains rough: vinyl only.

Different DJs from the SAFE community bring this venerable space to life every month. Safe co-founder and DJ Tourneur will be playing this evening with guest DJ Twyn. He is from Düsseldorf. He moves between minimal/techno and 90s house vinyl. He has played residencies at Orange Club, Royal Bambi Dortmund, Psychoaktiver Obstgarten and regularly plays at Salon des Amateurs or Berghain Kantine. We are very happy to have him with us.

You will find the entrance to the bar in the Anna Maria Café Restaurant, Ehrenhof 4-5, 40479 Düsseldorf. The restaurant is located in front of the Ehrenhof.
