The Magic Mumble Jumble became famous with their song "Don't Forget" and have been playing their way into the hearts of audiences who are looking for more than just the next chorus for years. Anyone who has ever been to a show by the eight-piece ensemble immediately senses that it is about community, about lightness - and about not only facing life, but also celebrating it. With music that encourages and a sound that connects, the Dutch collective has been an absolute live insider tip for years.

If you want to understand why it all sounds the way it does, you need to know where the band comes from. The Magic Mumble Jumble was founded in the Netherlands - from a wild bunch of jazz students who preferred writing songs to practicing scales. The first shows: with twenty people on a bus, tambourines in hand and a great sense of community. Over the years, the open collective has grown into a permanent ensemble of eight musicians.

Since their live debut album in 2016 - recorded with over 60 musicians in the Netherlands - a lot has happened: an acclaimed EP ("We All Want Sunshine", 2017), a second album ("Show Your Love", 2018, produced by Tom Gelissen), a recording of the Herzberg Festival (2019) with 90 minutes of live energy - and a song that became a minor streaming hit:
"Don't Forget" now has over eight million plays. Perhaps because this song conveys exactly what the band stands for: joie de vivre, humanity - a warmth that doesn't have to be loud to stay.

Once you've been there, you immediately realize that this energy takes on a very special form live. The concerts are not just performances, but states of mind. There are evenings when the trombonist dances on the shoulders of the sousaphonist, when the boundary between stage and audience dissolves - and a feeling of genuine togetherness arises.
