The Milt Jackson Project (MJP) is the name of the formation with which vibraphonist Matthias Strucken turns to his musical idol: the legendary jazz vibraphonist Milt Jackson, who became famous as a co-founder of the Modern Jazz Quartet (MJQ).

The Milt Jackson Project focuses primarily on the music that Milt Jackson played and released with artists such as Oscar Peterson, Monty Alexander and Ray Brown in the 70s to 90s: soulful, bluesy and sometimes funky pieces with plenty of room for improvisation. 🎶✨
