Touching drama about the invisible things that make life worth living.

Ten-year-old Gloria spends a lot of time in hospital because her mother Antônia is a nurse. When Sofia, who is the same age, accompanies her dead great-grandmother Bisa to the hospital, Gloria finally finds a playmate. The girls dream about what they want to do outside the hospital, while their mothers also become friends. When Bisa is due to be discharged, they all decide to go to her home village together to look after her and spend their summer vacation there.

With her feature film debut, Rafaela Camelo has created a sensitive, feminist tale about an extraordinary friendship and an open, childlike view of a world full of farewells and poignant insights.
