The Peach Cans combine 90s neo-soul with the funk of Prince and disco elements a la L'Imperatrice and Parcels in their music. Ben's voice moves effortlessly and dancily between Federico's guitar on the dancefloor of Lukas and Dave's heavy beats, fueled by David's driving basslines. An irresistible cocktail of tingling grooves and velvety melodies that linger in the ear and leave a hint of peach on the tongue.
Last year, they recorded their first EP and played at venues such as Bahnwärter Thiel, the Zamanand Festival and the up-and-coming artist collective broke.today. After a few months of intensive writing, they are now back with a new line-up and ready for the next chapter. The goal is clear: to make Munich dance with their music and let the city vibrate to their rhythm.
CHAKABELLA
The strength of beautiful vulnerability. CHAKABELLA handles some of the toughest challenges the human soul can suffer with an almost lightness of touch, allowing herself and her audience complete acceptance in the desire to belong. With her sensitive yet powerful voice, she celebrates life and constant change with her captivating stage presence. CHAKABELLA fuses her musical influences from her childhood - Latin American music, hip-hop and soul - in her music in a unique way: she lends her songs a soulful note with jazz chords, arranges polyphonic vocals in RnB style, captures the pop spirit with catchy choruses and alternates between her powerful vocal range and rap parts in the hip-hop genre. Her German-Spanish autobiographical lyrics are sometimes wrapped up in vulnerable ballads or energetic empowerment songs. Growing up in a German-Peruvian family of musicians, CHAKABELLA has been performing on stage since she was a child. Since 2021 she started her solo project as a singer-songwriter under the name Natty and in 2023 she ventured into her first 2 single releases "Sometimes" and "Water" as Chakabella.
