To mark International Menstrual Hygiene Day, we invite you to an evening that makes perspectives visible, shares knowledge and empowers menstruating women.
Together, we are focusing on a topic that affects millions of people worldwide - and yet is often taboo or overlooked. In inspiring keynote speeches, the organizations Viva con Agua and NIDISI will provide insights into their work on menstrual hygiene, education and social participation in an international context. At the same time, we will take a look at the challenges and grievances that still exist in Germany - and why more attention, education and openness are needed. The evening will focus on exchange and new perspectives. The aim is to make menstruating people visible worldwide and to make global connections tangible.
The event is rounded off by a photo exhibition of women from Nepal, which impressively shows their strength, their everyday lives and their stories. An evening for more awareness, more visibility and more social change.
