"The Shedding" is about changing skins, changing lives and searching for the love of death. The audience sits opposite each other in a bifrontal setting, with the performer in the middle. She is at the center: her flesh, her thoughts, her madness. What emerges is an intimate and unsettling space for an explicit examination of the body, the audience and the gaze that connects them.

As a piece between contemporary circus, performance, art, theater and dance, "The Shedding" questions the sexualization of the contortionist and the romanticized representation of violence against women. The body bends, twists, crawls and transforms - no longer as an object to be observed, but as a force that looks back. Claustrophobic, hypnotic and absurd, this one-woman show becomes a rebellion out of one's own skin.
