In his works, choreographer Josep Caballero García dedicates himself to the search for artistic principles of resistance - against norms, discrimination and the demand for homogeneous societies.
What does it mean to have a place in society today without having to defend it? Will there ever be bodies that move beyond power? That grant each other freedom and space? In The Tide, eleven dancers from Unusual Symptoms and tanzbar_bremen search for attitudes of gentle resistance and encounter the potential of repetitive movements. Between swinging and swaying, play and constancy, they listen to the waves of their steps and defy stagnation.
