The U2 tribute band theU2s was founded over a decade ago and has played over 350 often sold-out concerts and gigs throughout Germany, Benelux and France to date.
theU2s are not a cover band but a tribute band. The decisive difference lies in the fact that the musicians put their heart and soul into their work. Bono Cash of course knows where Bono Haus is in Ireland, all the musicians have attended countless U2 live concerts all over the world and are active on the corresponding U2 internet forums. The REASON to constantly work their way into new set lists, to work with a B-stage even at smaller gigs, to drive 600 kilometers with a trailer to play as a headliner at an open air festival in northern Germany or in a club in the Black Forest, is still LOVE and not MONEY.
The 4 experienced musicians bring hits from more than 4 decades of rock history of the Irish mega-band "U2" to the stage in a unique tribute show.
The authentic U2 sound and look make for a unique band experience that is not just a simple copy thanks to a good dose of individuality and spontaneity on the part of the performers.
