Three...Four...Five...! The band has been active for fourteen years now and the trio has now become a quintet, The WyattChristmas Five. Since the start in 2010, not only the sound has changed, but also the entire line-up: Only founder and songwriter Andy WyattChristmas remains from the original line-up. Peter Kühn on harp, guitar and vocals joined in 2015, followed in 2017 by Martina Jansen on piano, Olaf Schumacher on double bass and Philip Flottau on drums. The five produce a musical firework of blues, swing and jive in an extremely varied and danceable form! Polyphonic vocals, boogie-woogie piano, a driving shuffle groove, blues harp and a very flexible solo guitar give the band every opportunity to fire off ever new musical salvos (Wyatt Earp sends his regards)... The WyattChristmas Five are regularly on the road in Germany and neighboring countries to provide stylish sound reinforcement. The band has played at the Firebirds Festival (GER), Rock That Swing (GER), Bethune Retro (FR), Rollin' Dudes (AT), Moersquake (GER), Feel The 50ies (NL), Walldorf Weekender (GER), Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree (GER) and many other events. Four albums on Part Records and an EP are now to their credit - the new longplayer "Are You Ready" will be presented at this concert in the Blue Shell!

The call for the start of the show is the program. And off we go: THE HIGH-STEPPIN' DADDIES take you on a wild ride back to 1956 with selected song gems: they like to take forgotten demos and acetates from the 1950s and bring them back to life with fire - from Jimmy Johnson, Mac Curtis and Terry Noland, among others. Their own songs sound fresh and pure - about falling in and out of love, a trailer park playboy, lonely honky tonk hearts and Saturday nights on Main Street. Just like the original composition "Rhythm Bound". Chris Magee has produced a video clip for his popular BOPFLIX YouTube channel. The voice of singer and rhythm guitarist Chris, who is surrounded by musicians (ex The Star Shooters as well as the Backyard Casanovas, Cat Lee King & The Cocks) who have performed many times on German and European festival stages (Rockabilly Rave (UK), Berlin Shake (GE), Rhythm Riot (UK) and many more), also sounds fresh. With appearances at the High Rockabilly Festival (ES), Rockin' Resort Weekender (NL), the legendary Cruise Inn (NL) and Indra-Club Hamburg, at Stompin' Saturday, Rickermanns and the Rockabilly Festival (CH), THE HIGH-STEPPIN' DADDIES have made a name for themselves in a short space of time.
