Theatertage Eröffnungsempfang - Feierlicher Festivalauftakt

It promises to be an exciting evening and a fantastic kick-off that will impressively showcase the diversity, creativity and originality of the German-speaking theater landscape: this year's Heidelberg Theater Days will officially start at 7 pm with a reception in the foyer of the Karlstorkino. Over champagne and juice, we invite you to come together and enjoy the festival atmosphere. The participating theater ensembles will be presented in the cinema auditorium. Festively framed with live music by and with Jonathan Langer (including Ellmaurer), there will be a preview of the program and insights into the artists and their work on a large screen. Full of anticipation, we will then head straight to the TiK to experience the first play in this year's competition for the Heidelberg Theater Prize.

Jonathan Langer has been making German-language rock music for over ten years. Mainly seen in the band Ellmaurer, he also performs in duos or as a solo artist on stages across the country and beyond.

The HEIDELBERGER THEATERTAGE 2024 is organized by the Freie Theaterverein Heidelberg e.V. in cooperation with the Karlstorbahnhof e.V., the festival is funded by the City of Heidelberg via the Cultural Office and by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg via the Landesverband Amateurtheater Baden-Württemberg e.V.
