In the organizer's words:

Anker is released from prison after serving a 15-year sentence for robbery resulting in death. His brother Manfred is the only one who knows where the money from the robbery is. Manfred's childhood trauma has caused him to flee into an alter ego, and his memories of the whereabouts of the money are hazy. He lives in a council apartment with his overburdened sister Freja, thinks he is John Lennon and therefore wants to be called "John".

The brothers set off together in search of the money: Margrethe and Werner, who bought the house, now run an Airbnb in their former parents' house. Manfred's psychiatrist Lothar joins them that weekend, believing he has a solution to help his patient return to his normal self. He forms a band of other patients who, like Manfred, suffer from dissociative identity disorder and think they are one of the Beatles, and has them rehearse together.
