THERE IS ONLY ONE SOLUTION - CALL THE POLIZEI

A tragicomedy about left-wing anti-Semitism and the true meaning of words.

The Amt für Darstellende Künste collective creates bitingly topical and therefore incredibly entertaining theater. Their satirical theater evening "There is Only One Solution - Call the Polizei!" is unfortunately becoming more and more topical as time goes on, because it is about good old hatred of Jews disguised as criticism of Israel, which is attracting more and more people to the supposed "right side of history". In just under an hour and a half, the two actors, following Molière's Tartuffe, tell the fast-paced story of a Berlin flat share that turns into a real battlefield when a new flatmate arrives - after all, Palestine won't liberate itself!

Synopsis: Student Jasmina wants to do everything right in life. She has a lot of privileges and a condominium in Charlottenburg, which she shares with her best buddy Manu. Recently, she has spontaneously taken in activist Jonathan to finally do her bit for the just cause of the Palestinians. When it emerges that Jasmina's domestic help Natalya has relatives in Israel, the war finally arrives in her living room. Manu has a terrible suspicion, but cannot shake Jasmina's faith in Jonathan. Nevertheless, Jonathan is also behaving increasingly strangely. Strange things turn up in the apartment and another mysterious flatmate moves in without being asked. Now Jasmina really has to ask herself the question: what does "intifada" actually mean?

A post-colonial tragedy about the true meaning of words and an ode to good old-fashioned Jew-hatred. Inspired by Molière's Tartuffe.
