Thomas MacMillan: Live at Salotto Café

In the organizer's words:

Thomas MacMillan is a composer and guitarist from the remote Pennines region of northern England. Now based in Berlin, he writes music for solo guitar inspired by horror films, liminal spaces, and video game soundtracks—creating an atmospheric soundscape that feels both familiar and unsettling.

On August 7, he will perform his compositions for the first time at the Salotto Café. His repertoire includes works from his EP *Negative Space*, a concept album about liminal spaces and eerie architecture, as well as his more recent release *Nervous System*, an EP on the theme of anxiety, in which each track explores a different facet of this fundamental human emotion. His music conjures vivid, cinematic images while showcasing the impressive sonic range that the nylon-stringed guitar has to offer.

A must-see for guitar lovers and music enthusiasts alike! Free admission. Donations are welcome.
