Denmark's leading roots rockers THORBJØRN RISAGER & THE BLACK TORNADO have released their eighth studio album "Navigation Blues" - and will be performing new and old songs at Berlin's Kesselhaus in March 2024.

THORBJØRN RISAGER & THE BLACK TORNADO have conquered Europe's biggest festival stages and delighted jazz clubs around the globe . On March 8, 2024, the septet will present its low-light noir blues to Berlin audiences in the Kesselhaus at the Kulturbrauerei. The multi-award-winning band has already opened for Bonnie Raitt and the Tedeschi Trucks Band and performed on stage with legends such as Buddy Guy, Doyle Bramhall II and Robben Ford.

Thorbjørn Risager's voice is the icing on the cake: it reflects Ray Charles, Van Morrison and Billy Gibbons. Risager grew up in the small town of Jyllinge, around 30 km from Denmark's capital Copenhagen. The former fishing village lies on the eastern shore of the Roskilde Fjord with a bustling harbor that offers a breathtaking view when the sunset meets the horizon of the distant village.
