based on the novel of the same name by Julia von Lucadou
adapted for the stage by Zoe Köppen, Daniela Kranz and Maria Leitgab
Bursting with word creations and denglish digital sounds, Julia von Lucadou delves deep into the world of Generation Z in her new novel "Tick Tack". 15-year-old Mette announces her plan to lie down on the subway tracks in TikTok videos. Nobody reacts, but she is rescued anyway. The suicide attempt confuses her privileged environment: until then, she had performed her role as a highly gifted child, but the hypocrisy of the world frustrates her. Then she meets Jo, ten years older, brilliant and full of rage. As an anti-influencer, he has built up a following and recruits Mette to fight against the mainstream. A game begins, the rules of which she sees through too late. Young people from Munich also get involved in a joint game, bringing this live commentary on our present to the stage in Daniela Kranz's production. As a "Resi for all" production, the adaptation of the novel will be premiered at the Marstall.
