A newly founded alternative to playlist DJ-ism, which just whirls around with its arms in the air amidst laser shows and fog, because the two guys in this electro-acoustic breakbeat duo have their hands full during their live sets. Ex-rapper and jazz drummer Der Nussigmilde, real name Jakob Seeber, has grasped the concept of electronic-sounding live drums like no other and leaves no sticking pattern unused on his stacked cymbals to drive the beat forward. Arno Grußendorf alternates between funky electric bass and good old Ableton and occasionally contributes poppy vocals. The two young producers only play their own creations. Pithy voice samples, jazzy sythie claves, tasty basslines and grandiose build-ups lay the foundation for a live show that is partly rehearsed to the millimeter and partly freely improvised, giving techno bored party connoisseurs a real hard time.

There are sonic influences from house producers such as Jovonn, Mall Grab or DJ Boring, as well as an unmistakable touch of UK garage and drum'n'bass. In addition, the guys have certainly been inspired by German electro band pioneers such as Kuf or Comfort Rauschen for their live performance.
