Talking about art and the world:
Taking a seat at the pop-up table: since spring 2024, Ines Schwerd has been traveling to four cities in Bavaria with her paintings, a table and chairs to invite people to various "table talks". In addition to events in art exhibitions, pop-up tables take place in public spaces and meeting places.
Take a spontaneous seat at her table and become part of the art project. Anyone who is interested and open to surprising topics and new contacts is welcome to join the "table talk".
How can art be used to create understanding and participation in a world characterized by crises and change?
You are welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks. Water and a snack will be provided.
The original picture series "Table Talks" can be seen from 10 July to 10 August 2024 in the "GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM" of the non-profit organization "neuland & gestalten" at Buttermelcher Straße 15.
