Tom Gaebel, Germany’s number one big-band entertainer, is now dedicating a unique tour to “Ol’ Blue Eyes.”

Starting in April 2027, the “Crooner from Cologne” will celebrate the golden age of Frank Sinatra in the City of Legends with his new show “A Night In Las Vegas.”
Sinatra’s meteoric rise began in the early 1940s. For the next five decades, he set new standards with thousands of recordings and concerts, continuing well into his later years. His heyday, however—the pinnacle of his career—was the 1950s and 1960s. At that time, the U.S. was experiencing an unprecedented economic boom, and people were enjoying their lives to the fullest, filled with new opportunities and freedoms. And where better to do that than in the rapidly growing Las Vegas, which was transforming from a small desert town into the world’s largest entertainment metropolis.
Here, the stars of the era came one after another to entertain the gambling-loving audience, and Frank Sinatra was “The Main Attraction.”

His concerts—which he began performing in the mid-1950s, first at the Sands Hotel and later at Caesars Palace—are legendary. Having reached the zenith of his artistry, he is THE symbol of the jet-set era: People have the money and they want to spend it—but with style, of course! The gentlemen in suits or tuxedos, the ladies in dresses, the small tables piled high with ashtrays and alcoholic drinks. Late at night, they sit in the Copa Room, the smoke-filled air filled with big band music and Sinatra’s singing—THE PLACE TO BE!

Tom Gaebel wants to bring this atmosphere, this sense of lightheartedness, back to stages across Germany.

From mid-April through June 2027, “Dr. Swing” will celebrate the entertainment legend with “A Night In Las Vegas” over the course of nearly 40 concerts.
Backed by his magnificent orchestra, he’ll sing not only all of Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits.
He’ll also perform the hits of his Rat Pack colleagues Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin.

A show that’s more than just a collection of global hits—it’s a concert evening in the style of Sinatra’s heyday, complete with everything that goes with it: the swinging, sizzling band, the jokes, the surprises. The lighting, the bar on stage. Everything is stylish and elegant, yet relaxed and lighthearted. And above all—of course—the voice: Tom Gaebel sings Sinatra like no one else, so effortlessly authentic, so laid-back—and above all, so musical! Here’s a performer free of clichés—he doesn’t need a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, no hat (as if Sinatra ever wore a hat on stage!).
