According to the legendary Eric Clapton, "the greatest guitarist I've ever heard", he is considered one of the world's best exponents of fingerstyle, a special playing technique for acoustic guitar in particular. The Australian guitar icon once again impressively demonstrated his instrumental and compositional skills in the fall of 2025 with the album "Living In The Light".

Tommy Emmanuel delights audiences with countless different styles and moods. The fingerpicker shows his listeners what you can get out of a guitar: Breathtaking runs, rhythmic picking, effortless wandering through all keys, sometimes loud, then quiet again. With your eyes closed, you get the impression that you are listening to a multi-piece band.

Tommy Emmanuel holds the title CGP ("Certified Guitar Player"), which was awarded to him in 1999 by his role model, the renowned guitarist Chet Atkins. This award recognizes his outstanding skills and his long-standing commitment to fingerstyle guitar playing.
