A fresh look at Mahler
Whenever you wonder whether something new can still be found in the "great classics" of music history, you should take a look (and an ear) at conductor Paavo Järvi. With his world-class orchestras, he regularly creates refreshing interpretations. With the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, he is currently in the middle of a Mahler cycle - from which the orchestra is bringing the Fifth Symphony to Hamburg.
