Tovte - Album Release-Konzert „Cumulus"

Tovte is an award-winning instrumental quintet from Cologne. They find great inspiration in klezmer music, where they got their start. Today, they combine elements of klezmer, Balkan, jazz-manouche, classical and pop in their compositions and are known far beyond Cologne for their unique style and their brilliant and soulful live performances. Tovte's last album "Bukovina" (2024) was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award.

With their third album "Cumulus", the band is now rising into new musical spheres. A billowing cloud combines elements of minimal and jazz, but also - as usual with Tovte - klezmer and Balkan influences.
