Traces of 'Moors' - music and dance festival (festival pass)
Two days. One stage. A musical journey from Munich to the world - and back.
To mark the 10th anniversary of JISR, "Traces of 'Moors'" is a festival that combines music, dance and history. The starting point is the Munich Moorish dancers - and the question of what traces North Africa and the Mediterranean region have left behind in Europe to this day.
Experience a program between ritual Gnawa music, Arabic singing traditions, West African rhythms, jazz, hip-hop and historical dance - not as a mixture, but as a lively dialogue on stage.
The festival pass gives you access to all concerts on both days as well as to the supporting program (workshops, panel, film - mostly free of charge).
