X-Perience - 30-Y-X-P – The Annual Party
In the organizer's words:
X-Perience Embark on a New Chapter with New Singer VEERLE and “Miami Dark”
Thirty years after their international breakthrough, X-Perience is reinventing itself. On September 12, 2026, the Berlin synth-pop band will return to the Kesselhaus at the Kulturbrauerei for its traditional Annual Party. But this time, a lot has changed: With new singer VEERLE, new songs, and the new live concept “Miami Dark,” the band is opening a new chapter in its history.
Following the departure of longtime singer Claudia Uhle, X-Perience founders Matthias Uhle and Alexander Kaiser have revamped the live band for 2026. At the center is VEERLE—a young, fresh voice who isn’t meant to copy X-Perience’s signature sound, but rather to carry it into the present and future.
The new concept is titled “Miami Dark.” It’s not just a night of nostalgia, but rather combines X-Perience’s biggest hits with new songs, surprising cover reworks, and mash-ups. Classics from the ’80s and ’90s, Eurodance, pop, and modern electronic sounds blend with the band’s musical DNA.
“A Neverending Dream, ” “Magic Fields, ” songs from the successful albums “555” and “We Travel the World,” and new material are not simply presented side by side. They become part of a new live narrative that reinterprets familiar tracks and further develops the sound of X-Perience.
Throughout it all, the band remains true to its electronic roots: synth-pop meets dark electronica, modern EDM elements, and a cinematic world of sound and imagery. The show evolves from familiar hits through surprising reinterpretations to a grand, euphoric finale.
“You think you know us. But you’ve never experienced us like this before.”
This line from the new “Miami Dark” concept sums up the evening perfectly.
At the same time, 2026 brings a special reason to celebrate: 30 years ago, the mega-hit “A Neverending Dream” and the debut album “Magic Fields” were released . The song became one of the biggest German synth-pop hits of the 1990s and made X-Perience famous far beyond Germany’s borders.
Three decades later, however, the band isn’t just looking back. Alongside the new live lineup, X-Perience is working on a new album. The Annual Party at the Kesselhaus thus serves as a bridge between the past and the future: 30 years of X-Perience—and at the same time, the beginning of a new era.
New vocals. New songs. New look. Miami Dark.
