TRIO ST TROPEZ

In TRIO ST TROPEZ, violinist Julia Czerniawska, baritone saxophonist Almut Schlichting and double bassist Sven Hinse immerse themselves in the world of French jazz and swing. Collage-like and surrealistically mixed with faux Latin grooves, noise improvisations and chamber music miniatures, the result is a multicultural melting pot between Paris, New York and Berlin. For the concert at the GEDOK, the trio will focus on French jazz artists who were active between 1930 and 1960, such as Marguerite Monnot, Mimi Perrin and Christine Legrand.
