Norway's saxophone star Trygve Seim invites you on a fascinating sound journey to Helsinki. With his quartet, he presents pieces from his album "Helsinki Songs", which oscillate between lyricism, melodic infatuation and continuous melodic invention. Seim's compositions are homages to musicians such as Ornette Coleman and Bill Evans, to his band colleagues and personal sources of inspiration. Created during extended stays in Helsinki and realized in the Rainbow Studio in Oslo, the concert combines ethereal atmospheres with virtuoso solos - especially from Seim himself and the Estonian pianist Kristjan Randalu.
