Tuesday Discussion with Documentary Film Maker Friedrich Klütsch

This Tuesday, Friedrich Klütsch, film maker of Welt an der Würm [loosely translated, The World at River Würm], will join us for the Tuesday Discussion to talk about local filmmaking, the restoration of the river Würm's natural course, and the integration of an invasive neophyte in the area. He will also show us a few scenes from the film.

Welt and der Würm (2026) is a 60-minute documentary (in German), traveling to various places and events along the Würm, a river that starts its course at Starnberger See south of Munich, flows through the city, to end in the Amper near Dachau in Munich's north. The film inquires what belongs, what is foreign, what is native to the world around the river. It asks about protection, stability, and change and includes interviews with a multitude of people living and working with and around the river.
