Why does the television tower look so slim and slender? Why doesn't it topple over in strong winds? And what does a "samba sock" have to do with the tower shaft? You will get answers to these and many other questions on the "Overview" tour of the tower. In around 60 minutes, you and your guide will first take a look at the TV tower from the outside, then descend into the foundations and finally ascend to the viewing platform 150 meters above the ground. You will be immersed in the construction history of this prototype of all television towers, learn exciting technical details and hear one or two amusing anecdotes about Stuttgart's most striking landmark. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the gastronomy in the Panoramacafé.
