It's never been done before: the Kunsthalle Bremen is showing masterpieces from its own collection and interpretations by children and young people at eye level in an exhibition.
Twelve daycare centers and schools from Bremen and Lower Saxony were invited by the Kunsthalle to be inspired to engage in a dialogue with masterpieces from the collection in the museum. Works by Renaissance master Albrecht Dürer, historical works by Arnold Böcklin and Lovis Corinth as well as contemporary art by Pipilotti Rist and Martin Parr were all questioned.
