Take a look behind the scenes of an opera with us - free of charge! We discuss with various people involved in the respective production and then use these insights to visit a rehearsal. While you get a taste of a stage orchestra rehearsal at the opera, you can see and hear the entire rehearsal at the theater.

The Barber of ... Bonn? Figaro works in a barbershop in Bonn and helps the world star of the opera scene Almaviva to win Rosina's heart. But the beauty, who lives in the southern part of the city, is to be married to the bourgeois dentist Bartolo, who does not take kindly to the colorful, diverse outside world. In Matthew Wild's production and with choreography by South African hip-hop star Rudi Smit, Rossini's world-famous operatic comedy becomes a hymn to tolerance, diversity and love.
