Über die Trauer hinaus
In the organizer's words:
Without words, through the characters’ actions alone, relationships and personal growth become visible, and moods are conveyed. The production confronts the depth of the subject matter and does not shy away from the pain. It creates a space to grapple with the themes of death and grief. The production’s serious yet straightforward style makes it accessible to children and adults alike. Conceived as a family play, it is also suitable for children ages 5 and up when accompanied by an adult. Two people on a journey through grief. Seeking solace, at the mercy of a storm of emotions. Between despair and acceptance, they gradually manage to say goodbye—together, and each in their own way.

“(…) A particularly sensitive production about death, grief, and coming to terms with them. (…) Complete silence fills the room. Through the movement of the puppets alone—without a single word—the audience is transported into a world of poignant emotions. From the audience: “…for me, everything clicked. When my husband passed away, I felt exactly as it is portrayed in the play.”Sykle Jacobs, Haaner Treff, November 19, 2022
