Exhibition by the Department of Design 

In September 2026, the Department of Design at Mainz University of Applied Sciences invites you to an exhibition about tomorrow. Students in the fields of →Interior Design, →Communication Design, and →Time-Based Mediawill present projects and ideas addressing the questions of our time: How do we want to live, learn, and design tomorrow? What roles do society, sustainability, social responsibility, and artificial intelligence play? Look forward to interactive exhibits and installations that invite you to explore and join the discussion.

From September 24 to 26, the exhibition will be open daily until 11 p.m. as part of →Mainz leuchtet.

Exhibition Tour & Portfolio Consultation for Prospective Students
September 25 – 4:00 p.m.

Are you interested in a creative degree program? During a guided tour of the exhibition, students from →Interior Architecture, →Communication Design, and →Time-Based Mediawill showcase their projects, provide insights into their degree programs, and answer your questions. Afterward, we’ll offer portfolio consultations for prospective students.

And if you’re still in the mood to explore Mainz afterward, you can round out the evening at the Late Light Festival →Mainz Leuchtet and experience the projections created by students from the Time-Based Media program.
